I also faced with game not opening problem. But I found a way from YouTube. All you need to do is to download final crack from the given link and then just need to follow the instructions from video provided in link. Now I am OK to play game with everything working and not crashing anymore.

Note : 1. Copy the crack files to game folder and replace all.

2. Set the Need for speed heat.exe to "High Priority" under "Details tab" in "Task Manager".
3. Disable your internet for first time game play in order to avoid the endless loading screen. Then for next game plays, it's OK to put internet back.
